Booking terms: payment, dock, arrival and cancellation

The Mavi Soul charter rate in Cartagena includes the private catamaran, captain and crew, fuel, ice and dock fees.

Drinking water and other beverages are not included. Food, bar service, DJ and photography are optional extras quoted separately.

After availability and your quote are confirmed, a 50% advance payment is required to reserve. Sending an enquiry does not confirm a booking.

Boarding may take place at different piers in Cartagena depending on your booking and operational arrangements. Your confirmation will specify the pier, meeting point and boarding time. Arrive 60 minutes before the stated time.

Payment, cancellation and sailing conditions

Payments: For instant online bookings, the exclusive 5% web benefit applies to the charter and additional-hours subtotal. The 50% deposit is calculated on the discounted total with no payment surcharge; MAVI covers the payment platform cost. Manual debit-card, credit-card or payment-link transactions made outside the instant online booking flow are subject to a 6% surcharge per transaction.
Cancellation more than 90 days in advance: 100% of the reservation value is refunded, less bank charges and applicable taxes, if any.
Cancellation 60–90 days in advance, inclusive: 25% of the total boat payment and 100% of additional services are refunded.
Cancellation 59 days or less in advance: No refund applies.
Red-flag maritime restrictions: If a DIMAR Port Authority red-flag restriction prevents the outing, you may request rescheduling or a refund of the boat rental. Food, beverages, sound and other extras are refunded at 50%. Refunds may take up to 10 business days.
Force majeure: Supporting evidence is required. Only rescheduling is available.
Schedule changes and late arrival: Request schedule changes at least 48 hours in advance; they require availability and approval and may change the itinerary. The rental ends at the confirmed time even if passengers arrive late. If availability permits, MAVI may start counting the rental time when all passengers are onboard.
Early finish and itinerary: No refund applies if you choose to finish early. The captain may change the route or itinerary according to weather conditions.
Onboard rules: Guests may not bring fireworks or flammable items. Fireworks are available only as an add-on service provided by MAVI, with a pyrotechnician included. Smoking is prohibited; electronic smoking devices are permitted.
Operational issues preventing departure: MAVI will try to provide a vessel with similar characteristics. If this is not possible, the amount paid will be refunded. The company assumes no additional compensation.
