How to plan a corporate catamaran event in Cartagena
Published by MAVI Colombia, operator of Mavi Soul.
Define the purpose, date, attendance and duration; choose the bay or islands for your group; confirm the setup and equipment; quote dining, branding and music separately; and confirm availability, terms and boarding in writing. Mavi Soul accommodates up to 50 in the bay and 40 on island/Cholón outings.
Mavi Soul is MAVI Colombia’s 61-foot private catamaran in Cartagena, with an onboard jacuzzi. Capacity is up to 50 guests in Cartagena Bay and up to 40 on Rosario Islands and Cholón outings.
1. Prepare a brief that can be quoted
Include the purpose, preferred and alternative dates, attendance, schedule, duration and indicative budget. Distinguish team bonding, client hospitality and a brand activation: an equipment-based presentation needs different coordination from a cocktail gathering.
2. Choose the route and layout
The bay can suit gatherings from two hours close to the city. Island and Cholón outings take a full day. For 41–50 guests, choose the bay. Seating is distributed across the existing furniture; confirm the specific setup, circulation and mobility requirements before booking.
3. Check equipment and services
Mavi Soul has JL sound, a 110 V supply and a 27 kVA Caterpillar generator. Generator capacity is not the power available for your equipment: send requirements and connections for confirmation. Catering, a DJ, branding and audiovisual production are quoted separately.
4. Finalize the proposal and event coordination
Request a breakdown of charter and extras, a coordination contact and a setup schedule. Confirm availability and terms before paying. The pier and boarding time appear in your confirmation; arrive 30 minutes early. Share your agenda and review change, weather and cancellation terms on the official booking page.
Mavi Soul inclusions and exclusions
The rate includes the private catamaran, captain and crew, fuel, ice, taxes and dock fees. Drinking water and other beverages are not included. Food, bar service, DJ and photography are optional extras quoted separately.

What should the corporate proposal include?
The date, destination, duration, attendance, setup scope, charter, extras, total and terms. Include access and equipment requirements, and confirm the pier, schedule and coordination before the event.
